I've watched more movies than read books, but one book that really stood out to me was Pocahontas, after watching the Disney movie of course XD
THE ACORN QUEST by Jane Yolen. XDD
It's a parody on King Arthur and the Knights of the round table with woodland animals. King Arthur was an owl. xP
